There are many face totems in the series. Some are similar to folk masks or indigenous masks. They all close their eyes which expressing and symbolizing opening the 3rd eyes of the pure SELF within, allowing the senses except eye sight to flow naturally. There are many elements around the face totems, such as waves, forests, the sun, the moon, clouds, mountains, rocks, flowers, the universe and other natural elements, depicting that when we focus on our heart fully, we will be able to really set aside the human made’s worldly mundane life and connect with the primordial simple self and its force. 

Close your eyes and let all senses flow naturally. Try to find, listen, and introspect inwardly, focus on a state that makes you sincerely happy, and invite your body and mind to stay in. Many unnoticed feelings, like the elf dancing waltz around and around, relish at the moment totally with an endless stream of vitality. That makes us depart everything around us and immerse in the realm of oriental Zen wisdom, or the Self we believe we are, a sincere satisfaction and joy come from deep inside.
